National ASC Recruitment Campaign

Every day is different when you care

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has launched a national adult social care workforce recruitment campaign on 12 February to;

  • raise awareness of and drive recruitment into the sector,
  • help equip the sector with the knowledge of how to support the campaign,
  • boost the sector’s recruitment marketing.

Look out for bus adverts, posters, digital and radio advertising and press and media activity.

Keep updated on the campaign at www.everydayisdifferent.com

How you can support the campaign

Advertise your vacancies on DWP ‘Find a job’
Post your vacancies on DWP Find a Job (alongside any other local job board normally used). The campaign website directs prospective applicants to DWP Find a Job which is filtered to show social care jobs only
Download instructions for how to post a job.

Social media
Follow the campaign Facebook page and show your support by liking and sharing content. Encourage staff to do the same, particularly with those who they think would be suitable to work in adult social care, as we know referrals are a positive driver for retention.

Case studies
Send in case studies to feature on the campaign Facebook page. Please email casestudies@morecarejobs.co.uk to help.

Use the campaign toolkit
The campaign toolkit and materials are available on the resource centre to support local recruitment marketing activity – these are free to download.
