The NW MH ADASS group is a network of MH leads from across the NW that meets bi-monthly to discuss relevant issues that are affecting MH social work, with an emphasis on the role and function of the AMHP. The group provides support to members by sharing good practice, identifying solutions to common problems and raising issues that affect AMHP/MH social work practice with key partners such as NWAS, police and the CCGs.

The group meets every other month at Warrington Borough Council, New Town House, Buttermarket St Warrington, WA1 2NH meeting between 10 and 12pm on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The next meeting is January 8th 2019.

The group is open to all MH social work leads across the NW. Anyone interested in joining the group can contact Keith Evans at keith.evans@cheshireeast.gov.uk who will be happy to provide you with more details about the work of the group.

    The NW Mental health ADASS group provides a forum for the sharing of ideas and the development of north-west specific social care policy developments across the region within mental health. Meeting every two months at New Town House, Warrington; the group acts as the sounding board for NW directors of Adult Social Care in mental health policy, practice and law.
