Tom Maloney

NW ADASS Programme Director

Tom has worked in both the NHS and local government most recently as strategic lead for Greater Manchester Public Health Network with a focus on delivering improved health outcomes for the people who live and work in the city-region. Tom has extensive experience of creating and establishing sustainable collaboration across a wide range of partners and geographies and is driven by the fact that working together can improve the outcomes and opportunities for the people of the North West. In his spare time Tom enjoys going to the gym, socialising with family and friends and travelling to see new European cities and countries.

Andrew Burridge

NW ADASS Programme Manager

Andrew has worked in sub-regional and regional programme manager roles during a period of huge change for our local authorities, including implementing the Care Act, and within Greater Manchester during the development of the Greater Manchester Strategy and health devolution.  Andrew has a passion for collaboration and improvement, and bringing together colleagues to work to share ideas and challenge one another. In his own time Andrew enjoys spending time with his daughter, creating music and reading history and fiction.

Paul Madden

NW ADASS Senior Analyst

Paul works for North West ADASS on a part time basis, splitting his time between the Programme Office and Liverpool City Council Adult Services, where he is a Senior Analyst.  Paul has worked in Local Government/Public Sector analysis since 2007, starting off at Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and moving to Liverpool Council in 2009.

One of Paul’s main aims is to make information accessible to all across the region, in a simple and easy to understand format.  He is of the opinion that decision making should be made on the back of robust data, analysis and benchmarking, and that the North West region is at the forefront of this this.

Janet Appleton

NW ADASS Improvement Delivery Officer

Before joining North West Employers Janet was Executive Office Manager for the North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP). Janet has also worked for the NHS, AGMA and North West Regional Assembly. Janet previously supported NW Employers Improvement Director, working on SLI, Integration, Better Care Projects and Health and Wellbeing, including assessment centres for senior officer recruitments. Janet is now the Improvement Delivery Officer for the NW ADASS Programme Office. In her spare time Janet enjoys volunteering, traveling, cooking, gardening, DIY, crafts, reading and gym.
